THE SIXTH POINT
EXPLORE ATLANTA - CREATE COMMUNITY - CONNECT WITH JUDAISM
The Sixth Point is an independent, non-denominational community for Jewish young adults in Atlanta. We serve as a gateway to Jewish connection for young professionals in their 20s and 30s(ish).
We organize social, cultural, and spiritual events that bring Jewish young adults together to make new friends and create lasting memories.
Explore the greater Atlanta area with us! We see our lack of physical space as an asset, not a deficit - it allows us to get out into the community and host a variety of unique events.
Meet and engage with your peers.
We welcome all adults over 21 years of age, with a focus on those in their 20s and 30s(ish).
CONNECT WITH JUDAISM
Connect with your Jewish roots and religion or simply indulge your curiosity about Judaism. Throughout the year we observe many religious holidays in non-traditional ways.
“For the first time since I was a kid I found what I was looking for... an independent Jewish community that made me feel wanted, included, valued, and not judged.”
Michelle grew up in Atlanta, where she was active in her synagogue- attending Hebrew School until the age of 17 (thanks, Mom!), reading Torah, and even teaching Hebrew School. She was also very involved in BBYO and spent 15 summers at Camp Barney Medintz. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she worked for Hillel at the University of North Carolina for three years, followed by five years at Camp Twin Lakes in Atlanta. Michelle has an MBA from Georgia State University and has taught herself the arts of hamentashen-making and challah-baking. She also firmly believes that anything in life can be related to an episode of "Friends." Michelle is wife to Rich, dog-mom to Max, and BBYO advisor to many. And the most recent addition to her resume: mother of Dylan and Justin.
